Similar to the DL3200 features plus:

• 2000 PIN or PIN/Prox user codes; 500 scheduled events; 40,000 audit trail
• Privacy Pushbutton – Push button on inside door to temporarily lock-out keypad codes (programmable option)
• Occupied and multi-status LED indicator, flashes when privacy session is active
• Keypad or PC programming/reporting
• Right- or left-hand, classroom or deadbolt function models
• 1-3/8” mortise cylinder & ASA strike, matching function supplied, only with 4500 Series
• 5AA battery-pack operated; 60,000 cycles, typ.
• Weatherproof -31° to +151°F (-35° to +66°C)

While developed for schools in the United States, allowing a class room to be locked down in seconds from the inside, it also useful for offices or similar environs e.g.

If you are carrying out a staff interview and you don’t want other staff members entering, the privacy button allows you to prevent others entering or

You have a safe in your office and while it is open you don’t want anyone opening the door and entering.

While all normal codes are inhibited an override code can be programmed to allow access in an emergency situation ie “man” down.
