ERA Protect Smart Alarm System

The ERA Protect smart alarm is a fully integrated security system. Simply control the alarm via the smartphone app to stay in control and check the status of a property wherever you are. Access the alarm from anywhere, anytime with the easy-to-use free downloadable App for IOS and Android smartphones. The Protect alarm offer continual protection for any home or business and notifies the user even in the even that the internet fails.

Completely wireless, the alarm system is easy to install, set up and operate with no need to hard wire any accessories. The built-in SIM card allows the user maintain control of the system and all functionality including data transfer to the cloud. The dual path technology means that whether the system uses the WiFi or the built-in SIM card, it’s always connected. The 4G roaming SIM gives hassle free communication by picking up the best signal* so no need to choose a specific provider. Full SIM functionality is available by simply activating the subscription via the app. Push notifications will instantly alert of a trigger via the app, so the user will be informed straight away when something happens. The system also integrates seamlessly with ERA Protect cameras** to see what’s happening at the property when the alarm is triggered too.

The system is easy to control with arm, home arm or disarm set through either the app, remote control or additional keypad. All settings can be viewed and adjusted through the app with a quick slide. ERA is serious about security and worked closely with the BSi to develop the BSI Kitemark for IoT Devices. As such, the ERA Protect alarm system has been through intensive rigorous testing to give you the confidence that the ERA Protect platform is fitted with the highest security controls to guarantee the safety of it’s data.

Alarm accessories:
The pet friendly motion sensor secures rooms, hallways and entrance areas by picking up heat and movement when the alarm is activated. Suitable for use with pets up to 25 kgs, the PIR’s have wireless two-way communication to the hub, to send an alert if any movement or heat is detected within the armed zone. The sensor detects motion up to 12m away with a detection zone of 90 degrees.

The door/ window sensor uses magnets to determine and therefore trigger the alarm when a door/ window has been opened. With two-way communication, the LED indicator will alert the app of a trigger. The built-in tamper protection will notify the user of anyone trying to remove the sensor too. The sensor can be fitted with either the adhesive mounts or the screws provided.

The remote control allows arm, home arm and disarm of the alarm system when entering or leaving the property or even from inside (home mode). The handy remote can be stored on a keyring for ease of use when arriving or departing. Also ideal for smaller children that perhaps don’t have access to an app or family members that need to arm/ disarm the alarm temporarily. The two-way wireless communication and the built-in LED indicator confirms use of the remote and the Plus Action button is customisable depending on requirements (Plus members only).

As the system is wireless, it is fully expandable at any time and can be tailored to suit most properties. In total you can add up to 96 additional accessories to any alarm hub. With a range of pet friendly PIR motion sensors, door/ window sensors, remote controls, touch RFID compatible keypads, sirens and replica sirens; plus, indoor, outdoor and outdoor floodlight cameras – the fully integrated system is suitable for any size home or budget.

Add a subscription:
Adding a subscription to a new or existing ERA Protect alarm will enhance the features and benefits of the ERA Protect security system. Choose from either a stand-alone Camera only subscription, ERA Protect Plus subscription or ERA Protect Plus Premium subscription for professional monitoring.
